It is time. I had waited ages for this moment to arrive, but now it was here, I wanted to wish it away again.
Until today, I had never been so scared for my life.
The sweat poured from my brow as we waited and watched. I felt as if I might faint from nervousness. “I’m so scared” I whispered to my mum.
Closing my eyes, I wished over and over again that the ride would soon end. Was it nearly over? I screamed and screamed and crossed my fingers tight.
